Description:  During this four day course, you will create a beautiful, black walnut coffee table. You will learn the traditional method of draw bore pin mortise and tenon construction. This course will challenge your skills and reward you with a beautiful piece of heirloom furniture. This course is designed for any and all wood workers. Previous experience using table saws, jointers, planers, band saws, and routers is helpful but not required. This course will also include extensive use of classic hand tools.

Prerequisite: Woodworking experience

Tuition:  $675 + $150 materials fee

I teach furniture making courses at the Tucson Woodcraft store. My classes focus on traditional joinery. Students are exposed to a variety of Power and Hand tools. The course size is kept small and personal. You can find out more about the class by calling me. The classes typically fill up 2 to 3 months in advance.
